Michelsberger Haus

Brimming with the original wood and stone features, our beautifully restored traditional Saxon House retains the charming character of its 300 year history. Evidence shows that Michelsberger Haus dates from at least 1709, with an 1889 renovation by Johann Henning. Johann's inscription can clearly be seen carved into a mighty oak beam in "The Keller" breakfast room. Our own recent renovation, whilst retaining the unique history of the buildings, has embraced sustainable tourism by making Michelsberger Haus also 'Eco Friendly'. Michelsberger Haus is a restored traditional Saxon guesthouse situated in the historic village of Cisnădioara. The building dates from at least 1709 and retains original wood and stone features following a recent eco-friendly renovation. Accommodation options include several named rooms such as the Gozelinus and Rosengarten rooms, with breakfast served in a vaulted cellar or courtyard. The location provides access to local heritage sites, including the nearby Evangelical fortified church.
